Strawberry Picking

Thank goodness last week is done!  Maddie and I got the stomach bug and were stuck in the house for DAYS!  On Friday, we finally got to go do something fun.  We went strawberry picking!!!  We picked 17.5 pounds of strawberries in 45 minutes!  To say that the berries were waiting for us would be an understatment.  We had to make ourselves stop and leave big beautiful berries on the plant for other people. 

Saturday, I attempted to make freezer jam.  Pretty easy, everyone things it is delicious and we have 12 jars of it!  3 jars went to school with Abby today for her bus driver, teacher and teachers assistant.
