We had 30 people at our house for Easter dinner (including our family). It is so nice to be able to have friends over for holidays when family is half way across the US. We had a huge feast...ham, deviled eggs, squash casserole, green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole, green jello, homemade bread, green salad, yummy appetizers, Grandma Earlene's peach cobbler, angel food cake with strawberries and pistachio jello stuff. We were all stuffed!!! We then had an Easter Egg hunt for the kids. We had to do two hunts since we had so many kids, each family brought a dozen plastic eggs filled with goodies. So, the big kids went first and found all their eggs, next the little ones went and they found there eggs and immediately started opening the eggs and stuffing candy in their mouths. Everyone should have slept well last night after the sugar high they were on!
