Maddie had a Snoopy themed birthday party. They don't make a lot of Snoopy stuff anymore so we had to get creative and used some of Eric's old Snoopy stuff from when he was little. Maddie loved it!! We had 5 families over to help us celebrate. Thank you for all of the wonderful presents! There are more pictures in the Maddie 2nd birthday album to the right.

Birth Day

Happy Birthday to our sweet Madeline Rae! You were born on Thanksgiving Day two years ago and we are so thankful for you. You are full of life and love your sister so much. You take a while to warm up to people but when you do your personality shines! You love Snoopy (just like your Daddy did when he was little) and your love Elmo! We love you so much! Happy Birthday Sweet Girl!

Thanksgiving 2010

We had a delicious Thanksgiving dinner! We hosted our friends Annie and Bella. Annie's husband (and Bella's daddy) is deployed right now so we gladly took them in. The girls had a great time playing outside and then playing with each other after dinner. We are gearing up for Maddie's birthday on Saturday and then we will get ready for Christmas! We hope each of you had a great Thanksgiving and we are thankful for all of you!

Cleaning it Up!

We were driving through the neighborhood tonight and happened upon this table. It was a dusty mess but after some Pledge and a little lemon oil it looks pretty good! It is in the formal dining room and I will use it like a server. I am super excited about our find!

Christmas Parade

We went to the Virginia Beach Christmas Parade on Saturday with some friends. The girls had fun and got to enjoy a Peppermint Hot Chocolate from Starbucks. They thought it was great! We are getting ready to get in the spirit of Christmas at our house on Sunday!

Sick Baby

Poor Maddie seems to have gotten the stomach bug. She has had diarrhea since Thursday. We didn't think anything about the change in her bowels on Thursday as she was still acting normal. We were headed to dinner and that all changed. Throw up everywhere!! Thankfully that was the only throwing up episode but it was a mess to clean up. Eric took one for the team and dealt with the car seat. I took the lesser of the two evils and took Maddie and gave her a bath. She isn't back to 100% yet but she is working her way there.

We have been busy little bees lately! Seems like we have had something every weekend. They have been having a great time playing dress up. We have been having the stairs worked on for the last few weeks. We had the carpet removed and put in wood. They look really good!!
