Abby...Getting Big

Our sweet girl is getting big! She is looking more and more like a little girl. Some days she looks like a little girl. Sometimes, she looks like a teenager! We are gonna have our hands full!

Maddie...

Our sweet girl thinks it is hilarious to make faces so I wanted to take some pictures of her yesterday when it was nice outside. She refused to smile so I told her what face to make and eventually she smiled for me!

Lots of Zeros!

My car rolled over to 200,000 miles on it last night! It is still going strong and isn't going anywhere!

Cruiser Upgrade!

I have been without a car the last two days but is was well worth it! The leather seats were looking their age and were starting to crack and were dirty. So, we purchased new leather hides and found a great little upholstery shop (from a guy at church who has him do work for him) and took the car in on Monday. They worked on it all day Tuesday and Wednesday and we picked it up last night. Amazing! We got new cushions for the front seats because they were pretty broken down and it is amazing how much of a difference that makes! Now I have the new car smell without the new car price! :)

Snow?? Well....

We had our first "dusting" of the year last weekend. It was pretty pathetic! We knew there wouldn't be much so we let the girls go out and play in that night. By the morning, it started melting pretty quickly and we went to church. By the time we got home, the snow was gone. So, I'm glad we let the girls go play when it started. It was super cold so they only lasted about 5-10 minutes until they said enough! So, they came in and had some hot chocolate!

Beautiful Winter Weather!

It has been very nice here the last few weeks so the girls have been having some time outside to play! They have been enjoying being able to play a bit!

Fondue!

We took the girls to a local chocolate fondue place the other day! They thought it was great! Abby was cracking us up with the Chocotherapy book. She kept wanting to "read" it! They loved the fondue. Maddie just wanted to eat the marshmallows plain so that's what she did.

Projects, Projects, Projects

Eric has been off for two weeks and has been blowing through his to do list. He built me a new closet and it is much better than before. We had some wood rot on the exterior that Eric fixed. We painted the kitchen nook a new color. The top pictures are the before and the bottom pictures are the after. We should be caught up on the projects for a little while!
