Still in Oklahoma

We are still in Oklahoma. The girls and I are having a good time with Grammie and Gramps. We sent Eric home on Sunday. We have been taking it easy and enjoying the pool. I am keeping the Oklahoma Summer pictures up to date so keep looking at those.

Sorry for the delay in updates. We have been busy since my last post. We are in Oklahoma and have been her about a week. We have been to my class reunion, to Fort Gibson and have seen Eric's family and friends, to Midwest City to see Eric's grandpa, are in OKC with my parents, tomorrow we head to Ardmore to see my grandparents and then back to OKC where we will be until the 27th, then off to Bixby to spend a little while with Eric's parents. We will send Eric home on the 20th back to VA so he can get back to work. I had my 10 yr high school reunion last weekend and had a good time. It was good to see some old friends and some it was just good to see what they have been up to. We did a family picnic for the reunion on Saturday and the girls loved it. There was a huge playground for them to play on and they played hard. Saturday night, Eric and I went to the formal event at a local hotel and had a good time. I wish more the the group that I hung out with would have been there but they weren't but we did fine.

Memorial Day Weekend

We spent Memorial Day weekend with John and Jana Thiessen and their girls. We went up to their house in Lexington Park, MD (close to Pax River) on Friday and came back on Monday. We didn't have a lot scheduled, mostly let the kiddos play. Saturday night, we had a cookout and they invited Eric's college roommate, Ben Carter, over. We hadn't seen Ben since our wedding so the boys had a good time catching up. Sunday we went to church and to Solomon's Island. Eric and John had some delicious Key Lime Pie. The garage project is moving along as well. There are recent pictures in the Garage Project folder. We are waiting on the roof to go on, siding to go on, and electrical.

Parent Teacher Conference

I had Abby's parent teacher conference today. I got nothing but good reports. She is doing wonderfully. She loves to do her work. She loves doing it independently. Her teacher said lately she opens the book and Abby starts right in and says, "I can do it by myself, I don't need help." She will do morning Pre-K every morning next year and her teacher, Miss Megan, thinks she will do great!

Garage progress

I have added an album to the right with pictures of the project. Slab should be laid on Monday and framing should start on Thursday.

New Pictures of the Girls

I went and had new pics of the girls taken this afternoon. It is still rough getting them both happy in a picture but we did it. I will bring the pictures home with us! Here are a few of the good ones.
