Birthday Party for Camille

Abby went to her friend Camille's birthday party this weekend. They did it at the Young Chef's Academy. They got to make chicken, cheese and black bean quesadillas and fresh salsa. As you can see she is not in the group picture, she didn't want to take a picture. On the way to church on Sunday, she said she was ready to be in Camille's picture. Silly girl!

Big Girl!

We went and had Maddie's 9 month pictures taken yesterday. She is so stinkin cute!!! There is one other picture but I didn't post it so the family has a surprise when they open their mail!

9 Months Old

We went to the doctor today to have a weight check and make sure Maddie was over her virus she had last week. She was 18 pounds 1 ounce at her 6 month checkup. Well, she is now 18 pounds 14 ounces. She is eating cereal and fruit for lunch and cereal and a veggie for dinner and she has taken quite a liking to Gerber Puffs. She is saying "Mama" and "Dada" and "Nana". Mama and Dada are most of the time said to the correct person. We haven't figured out what nana is. It is usually said when she gets tired so maybe she is trying to say Night Night. She is crawling everywhere and pulling up on anything she can. She is cruising around the furniture and is starting to transfer between the coffee table and her learning table. She has let go a couple of times for just a few seconds and stands by herself for a short amount of time. She still just has the two bottom teeth but I tried to feel today for the top ones and I think they are right there just haven't quite cut through yet.

Abby is Learning by leaps and bounds

I wrote Mommy and Daddy for Abby yesterday and she for the first time, copied what I had written. She did really well we think! Today she has been doing some more copying of names.

Going Ons

The Royal Family- King Daddy, Princess Abby, and the Queen Bee!

Our big girl! Abby has earned all of the crowns that we are wearing (plus 3 others) playing computer games (PBSkids.org). She plays Super Why and spells words and earns jewels for her crown. Maddie is all over the place and crawling all over the house following her sister around.
